  Booked with Luxury Escapes for a domestic holiday during the pandemic when States and travel agencies were marketing interstate travel. Of course, borders closed and we could no longer travel VIC-Queensland. It took some back-and-forth but we were able to get a travel credit for a future holiday. Jade was kind and professional. I know this company is struggling like the rest of us so not surprised it took some work to get a credit as they tried to exhaust other options before doing so. Looking forward to using our credit and would likely still book with them again.

  I cancelled by trip in April and still no refund. I get around to calling and get stalled and sold credits and everything else but my refund. If everyone requests refunds will they be able to credit us back and survive?? Off to credit card company for charge back/insurance.

  We've used Luxury years pretty happy in most cases with what they've provided. Their handling of covid however has just shown their corporate greed. Like most people we were seeking a refund since as Victoria is a state of disaster and impossible to travel. We simply want our money back for a service luxury cannot provide, it just shows you how much power companies can have with providing little reason to why they can't give us our money back apart from "we don't want to". I've checked with the resort, they haven't received a cent of our money and are happy to cancel. But luxury still refuses to give our money back. If there is a natural disaster, we would get our money back, but not for a pandemic. It's pretty bad form luxury. I mean you need to keep your company afloat, but at the expense of getting horrendous reviews. May not pay off in the end.

  I made an error when I bought a Hotel Escape regarding the name. I was buying the gift for a friend and was lucky enough to contact Anthony from Luxury Escapes. He was sooooo helpful, professional and solved my problem in a matter of minutes. I love Luxury Escapes simply for existing.!!! Julie Davis

  We had had great experiences with Luxury Escapes in the past and recommended many friends and family to book with them... recommendations I now regret making.
  
  Our extended family were booked for Bali this September. Obviously we cannot travel. After a lot of frustrating correspondence Luxury Escapes refunded my booking, but only offered credit to the three families traveling with us.
  
  Now with COVID worsening, the hotel has confirmed that Aussies cannot access the resort and the package inclusions booked could not be supplied. As such the hotel have allowed a cancellation without penalty. Luxury escapes had never paid them for these bookings.
  
  But when our family have requested a refund from luxury escapes they said that they have to negotiate with the resort. Now they have replied saying the “they could only obtain 18 months credit”. Our concern is, as the hotel was never paid, and aren’t charging penalties, then who is LE obtaining a credit from? Where is our money?
  
  Think carefully about booking with Luxury Escapes!! Our experience has been bitterly disappointing, they have take our money and provided nothing but uncertainty, stress and financial stress in return.
